Our brother and Faith In New York member, Umaro Zacarias was arrested by the ICE in February of this year. He has been a devoted worker, father, and person of faith in the more than 10 years he has been here in the United States.
Umaro will be facing is first court hearing on Wednesday, April 12th. In solidarity and support, we will join in prayer outside the Varick Street Immigration Court on April 12th at 11am for our brother Umaro, and for all immigrant families being torn apart by detainment and deportation. As people of faith, it is important for us now more than ever to stand in support and justice for Umaro’s family, and the many others who face an uncertain future
