National Day of Action – We Stand Together to Protect Immigrants & Refugees

National Day of Action- Saturday, January 14th, 2017

A mass-mobilization to build community, celebrate our immigrant heritage and defiantly pledge to protect immigrants, Muslims & refugees from hateful attacks and policies. Join millions to stand up for the values of love, compassion and family as we begin a campaign of righteous resistance. We will join hands and declare in no uncertain terms that we will stand in the way of criminalization, mass deportation and hatred. We are #HereToStay and will not be moved.

New York is sending one contingent to Washington D.C. (MTR & NYIC are working together). NYIC will be leading a small strategic contingent of New Yorkers that touch bases MTR members do not represent (100-200 members of: Muslim, Black Immigrant, AAPI, DACA-mented community).
