Faith Over Fear Closing Event: Havdalah, Prayer Vigil, and Altar Build
A multi-faith altar-build and prayers for justice to build spiritual fortitude for the local elections ahead.
645 pm – Gracie Mansion, E 88th St & East End Ave, New York, NY 10028
&
3 pm – All Souls Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 1157 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10075
The altar build and prayers will be at Gracie Mansion at 645pm, but you’re also encouraged to join us for the art-build (space to create whatever you want to leave that represents your hope for the beloved city / for a true sanctuary city in NYC) that will be from 3-6pm at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 1157 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10075 just under a mile away. We will walk from there to Gracie Mansion together at 6:30 pm for the prayers and setting up the altar.
If you cannot come to the art build beforehand, please bring a candle, photo, object, prayer item, or something else that represents your hopes for NYC, to Gracie Mansion directly.
