Bronx Diwali by the Bronx Borough President’s Office

The NYC Commission on Human Rights is partnering with the Bronx Borough President’s office to co-sponsor the event this year. It will be held on Friday, October 13th, 6-8 pm at Sonia Sotomayor Center, 1000 Rosedale Ave, Bronx, NY 10472. Diwali is typically known as the festival of lights and is celebrated across religions in many parts of South Asia including and not limited to India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and the diasporas. At this event we will come together and celebrate the diverse faith communities that make up the fabric of our wonderful city!
