BCJN’s end-of-the-month general meeting

After a pause of several months, we’re planning BCJN’s next
end-of-the-month general meeting.

*Sunday, October 23, 2-4 pm, Church of the Mediator. The Church is on the
corner of W. 231st St and Kingsbridge Avenue in Kingsbridge. We’ll be
meeting in the “Choir Room,” basement floor. As you arrive at the church,
please walk to the right-hand rear of the building, and enter the door to
the basement floor. The Choir room is on your right.*

*On the agenda — videos and discussions about two pipelines/two rivers/two
struggles, and BCJN’s solidarity efforts with both: Resist SPECTRA (the AIM
pipeline fight near Indian Point nuclear power plant) and Standing Rock
(the No Dakota Access Pipeline struggle in North Dakota).*

We’ll re-connect after a long pause in BCJN meetings, learn about two
extremely important “Keep It In The Ground” efforts, and plan BCJN action
going forward. During the portion of the meeting devoted to the AIM fracked
gas pipeline, we’ll also discuss the problem of local gas explosions in
Kingsbridge.

We’ll fill you in about an extremely important anti-AIM pipeline event
coming up this Wednesday, 10/26, 9 am, at Sen. Schumer’s office on Third

We’ll also let you know about a major national climate justice movement
mobilization being planned for April 29, 2017, in Washington, D.C., which
BCJN is helping to frame and plan.
