Join us for Voting Rights Day: Albany Action for Democracy on Monday, March 17th~ We’re heading to the New York State Capitol for a press conference and legislative visits to urge our leaders to prioritize key democracy reforms, including:

✅ Enhanced Automatic Voter Registration (Enhanced AVR) (S88) – modernizing voter registration to make it more accessible.
✅ The Democracy During Detention Act (DDDA) (S440/A2121) – protecting the voting rights of eligible New Yorkers in detention.
✅ Increased funding for election infrastructure and voter outreach – ensuring election administrators have the resources they need to support voter participation, especially in communities of color.
